About me

Lynette Miesen creates paintings on location throughout her local area of Florida’s Northwest corridor. Drawing inspiration from the gulf shores, lakes, waterways and wetlands. The works of art are created using oil as her medium. Many of her larger works of art begin on location, and later finished at her studio. She photographs local environment to help with this process. One of her many joys is capturing the magnificent Florida skies. Lynette’s technique of layering and texture is accomplished with a combination of brushes and palette knives
