Now through November 2, the California Art Club is hosting the show “Quintessential California,” featuring the work of 50 contemporary artists, including some well-known names. 

Larry Cannon, John Asaro, Karl Dempwolf, Peter Adams, David C. Gallup, Carolyn Lord, Frank Serrano, Jennifer Moses, Michele Usibelli, and others are featured in the exhibition, which is at the Santa Paula Art Museum, in Santa Paula, California. The CAC says in a statement that pieces were chosen that highlighted “the enduring appeal of the Golden State.”

The Juror’s Award winners are Betsy Bland, for “Anza-Borrego Desert Sunset”; Gail Pidduck, for “On the Ranch Road”; and Dan Schultz, for “Santa Paula Citrus Orchard.” For more information, visit the exhibition’s page on the CAC website.
