“Posey Perspective”
Oil
8 x 10 in.

About the Artist:
‘Posey Perspective was painted during the five day Frank Bette Plein Air Paint Out event in Alameda, CA. Forty Artists were juried into the event, painting throughout the Islands of Alameda and Bay Farm. Quite a fabulous event with fabulous Artists and their stellar results of work. I’m so honored to have been a part of it.’

A Pacific Northwest artist of Humboldt County, Michelle Murphy-Ferguson is primarily a self taught artist but has studied in France, Italy, Germany and in nearly every major art community in California. Michelle is a Plein Air painter – which is French for ‘painting outside.’ Her work is done where air, water, light and often her subject’s movement change around her as she works on the canvas. You will see those subtle nuances of nature, weather and expression in her paintings. She has been an artist-in-residence at the Morris Graves Foundation Estate and strives to capture the elusive spirit of the Northwest as he did during his long, illustrious career.
Her work can be found in collections both nationwide and internationally.
