The participating artists will work in one section of Charleston from 9 a.m.-noon and another are from 1-4 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be a reception for the artists and the general public in the Lambert Gray Gallery at 54 Broad Street. So far the artists who have indicated they will join the paint-out are Judy Fuller, Brenda Orcutt, Mary Hoffman, Susan Colwell, Jane Smithers, Mark Kelvin Horton, Shannon Runquist, and Karen Weihs. There will be a Peopleâ€™s Choice and two merit awards. A number of prizes have been donated for this event, including gift bags from Artist & Craftsman, a picture frame from Simple Tree Framing, five high-quality canvas/linen panels from SourceTek Panels, and gift certificates from Richeson Art.
