CFADA artists will gather at Washington Park for a plein air session on Saturday morning, November 3, starting at 9 a.m. The wet paintings from the park will be sold to benefit the Charleston County High Schools art programs. â€śPainting in the Parkâ€ť ends at noon.
The Ninth Annual High School Art Competition, an outdoor juried exhibition of outstanding student works from 11 local high schools, is held in conjunction with â€śPainting in the Park.â€ť The student artworks will be on display from 9 a.m. and judged by a panel of celebrity judges. The winners will be announced at 11:30 a.m.

The event is organized by the Charleston Fine Art Dealers Association (CFADA). This year, the Gibbes Museum of Art will present its first ever Art on Paper Fair in conjunction with the annual event. The print fair will feature dealers representing some of the CFADA galleries, as well as other premier galleries of the southeast.
