Artists painted at the Adirondack Park Visitor Interpretive Center among many other locations around town during the Saranac Lake Art Works event from August 16-19, 2012. Ann Larsen served as juror. Find out who won the Best of Show award.

This terrific celebration of art was started four years ago by artist Sandra Hildreth through the Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery in Saranac Lake. Each artist in the event donated a small painting for a silent auction, with many of the paintings selling for full price.

A show and sale was held at the end of the four days when awards were given, sponsored by many local supporters. Ninety percent of this year's funds from the auction were donated to Pendragon Theatre, and 10 percent of the proceeds went to support the Artist Guild. Christa Pisano won the Best of Show award.
