In Sarasota, Florida, the SRQ Plein Air Painters of Sarasota teamed up with the Renaissance School of Art to hold a fundraiser benefiting the Sarasota Sailing Squadron, on December 10.
The Sarasota Sailing Squadron is a nonprofit sailing club open to anyone interested in the sport of sailing and other non-motorized water sports. The artists raised money and pursued awards, with Susan Covert coming away with both First Place and Artists’ Choice. Vladislav Yeliseyev donated a painting for raffle to add to the fundraising.
