Every Monday, a group of Dallas painters gather to paint and celebrate buildings in the area that have historical or architectural value, highlighting their importance.

The group, which calls itself Tutti I Lunedi, paint en plein air. According to Jim Rogers, a photographer associated with the painters, “Their mission is to recognize structures that preserve their architectural integrity, thus maintaining the historical significance of areas throughout the Dallas area.”

Tutti I Lunedi’s efforts were recognized recently when Preservation Dallas hosted an exhibition on November 14 of more than 90 paintings by the artists in its headquarters at the Wilson House, a restored 1899 home. A portion of the sales from the event went to the annual campaign of Preservation Dallas, a nonprofit membership organization devoted to brokering solutions for preservation issues, educating the public, documenting historic Dallas neighborhoods, and partnering with neighborhood associations to promote preservation.
