What are you doing April 15-19? Did you know that more than 70 instructors are joining with over 800 participants in a plein air event in Tucson, Arizona? Grab a bargain flight, or throw your easel in the car and join them, at the Plein Air Convention & Expo (PACE).

Lead Image: Somewhere over the rainbow, in the Sonoran Desert, artists are gathering….

PACE just sold out, but cancellations do occur, so get on the waiting list here.  This event features a wide range of painters from Matt Smith to Mark Fehlman, from Kathryn Stats to Kathy Anderson, from Jove Wang to Jim Wodark, from Randall Sexton to Dean Mitchell, from Bill Anton to Dave Santillanes, from Carol Swinney to Curt Walters. Participants have a hard time saying just what is best about PACE, with top-flight instruction and demos just barely edging out the camaraderie they feel when so many like-minded people get together to paint, talk shop, and learn.
