Another historic painting of San Diego, CA

The competition is open to all artists, and the deadline for submission is January 11, 2013. Awards will include an Award of Excellence crystal trophy and three top prizes, the honor of being a featured artist on the Artists Guild website, and a mention in the San Diego Museum of Art membership magazine. All forms of oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, and drawing are eligible. Artwork submitted is to be painted en plein air, which includes all interpretations and portrayals of outdoor scenes. Work must be framed or gallery wrapped, suitable for display, and must not exceed 30" x 40" including frame.
