Audiences were spellbound by Eric Rhoad’s dynamic presentations in California last weekend. Rhoads, publisher of both PleinAir and Fine Art Connoisseur magazines, moderated panels during the California Art Club’s (CAC) Winter Symposium in San Francisco and the Los Angeles Art Show: Historic and Traditional convention. He will offer the same kinds of informative and motivating presentations during the 1st Annual PleinAir Convention & Expo in Las Vegas from April 12-15, 2012.

During the Los Angeles gathering, Peter Trippi, the distinguished editor of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, also lead a panel discussion on Realism Today: Old Methods, New Visions. Joining him on the panel were Adrian Gottlieb, artist and atelier director, Michael Pearce, artist and chair of the art department at California Lutheran University, Kate Sammons, artist, and Michael Zakian, art historian and director of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University.

The CAC symposium was held at the Fort Mason Conference Center in San Francisco. The event was organized by Richard Lindenberg and Kay Young, the co-chairpersons of the CAC San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.

During both of these California events, Rhoads met with artists and experts who will be part of the unprecedented convention and expo being hosted by PleinAir magazine in Las Vegas from April 12-15, 2012. Make sure you are registered to be part of this historic gathering by visiting the convention website: www.pleinairconvention.com.
