Thirty artists will gather in Santa Cruz, California, on June 2 to compete for $2,000 and to help raise funds for the Coastal Watershed Council, and you could be one of them.
Organizer Jenny Shelton says artists will be pleased at the variety of motifs available in the Santa Cruz area, which varies from historic buildings to a busy boardwalk to sunny beaches. The event is for Monterey Bay-area painters.
