Brenda Boylan, Michael Orwick, and Don Bishop gathered to paint the sunrise along an Oregon marsh, as they sometimes do. This morning, things took a different twist.

“Michael arrived before me and friend Don Bishop for a paint-out and we found him up on the train trestle, all set up for an interesting subject. Well, why not paint it?” says Boylan. “I was later informed that it is illegal to be on railroad property, and we could have been arrested. The only thing is that we haven’t seen a train on these tracks in years. Go figure.”
