Plein air paintings are currently on view in a juried exhibition at the Denver Public Library in Denver, Colorado (until December 31, 2012), and a number of those pieces received awards in both the professional and amateur categories.

The 2012 Denver, Colorado Plein Air Arts Festival began August 10 and will continue through September 16. Artists may submit their images by September 22 to be considered for the exhibition that opens to the public on November 13. Find out more about this exciting event.
