The Prospect Lions Club of New Berlin, WI and the Wisconsin Plein Air Painters Association organized a plein air painting competition from September 5-10, 2012. Awards were given and proceeds from the sale of painting helped to support the Lions Club’s special events. Find out who won the generous prize money.

In last week’s issue of PleinAir Today we gave a sneak preview of the big plein air festival in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. We now have the complete list of award winners and more photos of the exciting event.

Tom Nachreiner’s painting “Evening Ice Cream” received the Best of Show award in the June 16-26, 2011 Cedarburg Plein Air Painting Competition sponsored by the Cedarburg Artists Guild in Wisconsin. Other winners included Mike Nielson (First Place), Bonnie Paruch (Second Place), Darron Lillian (Third Place), and Tom Kubala (Best of City).
