One of the artists who will be traveling from outside the United States to participate in the 1st Annual PleinAir Convention & Expo from April 12-15, 2012 is Ulrich Gleiter, a German artist who studied at the Repin Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Several of the paintings on view in the Plein Air Rockies exhibition at the Cultural Arts Council of Estes Park Gallery from September 16-23 were created during a six-day pack trip undertaken by artists Scott Yeager, Tricia Bass, and Patricia Walker.
