Florida artist Sheila Thornton is currently exhibiting her paintings of the Pennsylvania landscape at the Allegory Gallery in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, in the southwestern region of the state. This presentation will be followed by an exhibition of Thornton’s paintings of Florida in Sarasota, Florida.

“Sheila Thornton: Pennsylvania Landscapes will feature new oil paintings capturing the rich, autumnal countryside of the region,” says Andrew Thornton, the co-owner and creative director of the Allegory Gallery. The exhibition of Sheila Thornton’s paintings will be on view in Ligonier, Pennsylvania until November 1, 2012. Following this show, Thornton will be exhibiting her paintings of the Florida landscape at the Sarasota Orchestra Harmony Gallery in Sarasota from October 16-November 1, 2012.
