Lead Image: “Medard Park, Plant City,” by Christopher Leo Klein, walnut ink, 9 x 12 in.

A solid ink drawing with a touch of an antique feel to it, reminiscent of the sepia botanical prints. There is a nice range of values and a variety of interesting textures to liven up the scene. A variety of diagonals that counter each other help to lead your eye around the painting.
