A plein air competition in Tarpon Springs, Florida, awards its top prize to the person with the best body of work completed over the span of the event. This year, PleinAir magazine stepped in to sponsor that award. Who took it home in 2014?

The PleinAir Magazine Award of Excellence went to Trish Beckham. PleinAir magazine also sponsored a subscription award; that honor was won by Katie Dobson Cundiff. That award was chosen by the 23 participating artists.

The event also had a Quick Draw, with Joseph Palmerio taking the top spot. Mitch Kolbe won Second Place, and Robert Simone won Third.
