Winners in Small Packages at Salmagundi

The Salmagundi Club in New York City announced the winners of its 2016 Thumb Box Exhibition & Sale. Who won?

Stephanie Marzella won First Place, the John N. Lewis Memorial Award, with “Cornelius View,” a small plein air piece she painted in Rhode Island. Anna Wainwright won Second Place, the Martin Hannon Memorial Award, with “City Light.” Third Place, the JoAnn Leiser Memorial Award, was won by Richard Lithgow for “Russian Spirits.” The D. Wu & Elsie Ject-Key Memorial Award for Oil or Watercolor was won by Del-Bourree Bach for “Mystic River Rail,” and the Don Donaldson Memorial Award for Figure Painting in Any Medium went to Michelle Usibelli for “Musing.”

Stephanie Amato, Steve Hessler, Dorothy Lorenze, and Jean Schwartz won Certificates of Merit.
