Sales doubled from last year at Paint the Town, in Marble Falls, Texas, an event that was judged by PleinAir magazine publisher Eric Rhoads.

Almost 40 artists, culled from five states, gathered to compete in the event, which finished up last week. Rhoads told the crowd at the reception that the caliber of artists was impressive. He chose a piece by Krystal Brown as Best of Show, with Omar Garza winning First Place, Gary Frisk taking Second Place, and Alison Leigh Menke earning Third. People’s Choice went to Debra Latham.
