Cecy Turner: Inspiration bombards me from every direction when I visit new places. “Our Lady of Chartres” is from a trip to France and “Timeless Vision in Arles,” was juried into the Southwestern Watercolor Society 62nd Annual Exhibition. “Reaching Beyond,” an oil that I painted from plein air studies in Canyonlands (Utah), won the Best Masters Award in Women Artists of the West National Exhibit. I also spend time I the Rockies each year working plein air, which provides more inspiration than I could ever paint!
