Cindy Harris: “Find Your Flock” In May, I gathered with the largest flock of plein air painters at PACE (Plein Air Convention and Expo), on the faculty as a field painter. I was so excited to see my mentor, Lori Putnam who presented as well as so many well-known artists. I was able to lean in, step into my power, teach, learn, and grow amongst other painters of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels from around the world.
Every year it is in a glorious location to paint and the Ozarks were spectacular. The energy was contagious as close to 800 of us in person plus others watching from live streaming surrounded ourselves with art and artists for 4 days! Can you imagine all speaking the same “art language”? How cool is that? This year I am continuing to grow in the plein air scene doing 3 plein air events, teaching and digging deeper than ever before. PACE ‘26 was the launchpad I needed and am so grateful for the passion of Eric Rhoads and team.
