Bow, Bell and Beam
14 x 18 in.
Oil on Panel

Winner of the 2018 Artist’s Choice Award and an Honorable Mention at Plein Air Easton Festival, Bow, Bell and Beam was painted on the grounds of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The view of the skipjack, lighthouse and bell tower backlit by the sun sums up the character of Easton: romance of the sea, hard-working ships and the unique light created by heat and humidity over the water.
