Luscious Lemons
This painting was done from reference in a lemon grove in Trimonte, Italy. It is included in a show of over 70 pieces focused on my travels to various provinces in Italy, with most of them being completed while in “plein aire tradition” while on the Amalfi Coast.
I have been long time faculty at the Art Students League of Denver, and taught painting workshops all over the world. I wrote a book on watercolor techniques called “weekend Watercolor Workshops”. I have won awards in many local and national shows in the US, and am a member of the Rocky Mountain Plein Aire Painters, USA.
