Suzanne Burnell: Suzanne Burnell is a Colorado-based artist whose landscape paintings in pastel and mixed media reflect her profound connection to the natural world. Working primarily in plein air, Suzanne captures the fleeting qualities of light, atmosphere, and form with sensitivity and scientific insight.  Her paintings have earned several recent honors, including First Place at the 2025 Plein Air Artists’ Colorado National Exhibition, and the Board of Directors Award at the 2024  Estes Valley Plein Air Festival.
