More than 70 artists, ranging from plein air painters to ceramicists, are working together to support the New Orleans Botanical Garden through the exhibition “RESPONSE: Artists in the Park.”

The event takes place on March 31 and features work by Alan Flattmann, Phil Sandusky, Billy Solitario, Auseklis Ozols, Mary Monk, Beth Lambert, PleinAir magazine editor Steve Doherty, and others. Artwork will be for sale at fixed prices with selected works sold at live auction in the evening.

“RESPONSE is an art exhibition and sale of original works created by artists in response to the natural landscape of the Botanical Garden and City Park,” say the organizers. “All proceeds will support the design and construction of an outdoor teaching kitchen in the Botanical Garden.”
