New Orleans artist Michelle Kondos saw these cacti in a rare state of bloom and imagined that the far one was, er, making eyes at the cactus in the foreground.
“That big cactus looks to me like he’s flirting with that other cactus,” she says. “Or maybe I’ve just been painting too much lately.”
