Plein Air Artists Colorado (PAAC) is beginning to organize its annual national juried show and sale, this year to be held at Abend Gallery in Denver from August 10-30. Award winners will be decided by PAAC Master Signature Member William Scott Jennings. Find out how to enter.

In 2012, more than $15,000 in cash and merchandise was awarded in the PAAC’s annual show and sale. New this year, a quick draw will be held opening weekend, with a silent auction of those “wet” works. This is an opportunity for art lovers to look over the shoulders of the artists and interact with them, taking part in the exciting art movement of plein air painting.
Entries will be accepted until April 28, 2013 through CaFÉ (www.CallForEntry.org). Notifications will be sent by May 5, 2013, and the opening reception at Abend Gallery is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. on August 10. For more information, visit www.pleinairartistscolorado.com.
