The California Art Club is presenting a lecture by Peter Adams on his experiences painting in Jerusalem, at the Bakersfield Museum of Art on January 19 at 2:30 p.m. Come listen as Peter talks about spending the entire night painting inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Peter Adams, who is president of the California Art Club, will discuss his month-long trip to Jerusalem and its sacred sites. He went to prepare for his commission to paint the Fourteen Stations of the Cross for the new Our Savior Church at the University of Southern California’s Caruso Catholic Center, which opened in November 2012.
