Rick D. Wilson, one of the multi-talented artists we met during the PleinAir Publisher’s Invitational in the Adirondack Mountains (www.ericrhoads.com), will be exhibiting more than 20 paintings of the upstate New York region. The show opens at Sigman’s Fine Art Gallery in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 15.
Rick D. Wilson amazed everyone attending the annual PleinAir Publisher’s Invitational at Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondack Mountains with his talents as a painter, musician, and singer. After a day of creating plein air paintings of the breathtaking beauty of the lakes, waterfalls, mountains, and streams in the park, he would sit on the porch overlooking Lower St. Regis Lake and entertain everyone with his musical talents.

Since attending last summer’s gathering, Wilson has been developing studio paintings based on the plein air pieces he created on location. A group of 10 outdoor paintings and 11 studio works will be included in this exhibition at Sigman’s Fine Art Gallery in Indianapolis. The exhibition opens on November 15.
