Stay in a cabin in the Whiskeytown Recreation Area 3 1/2 hours north of San Francisco and paint for up to three weeks.
Artists have until February 28 to apply. The Parks Department is looking for painters and draftsmen, and they are asking that the artists depict visitors or workers in the park. Sessions are available for spring, summer, or fall.
