Artist Jerry Markham is offering a scholarship to his upcoming plein air workshop to anyone ages 17 to 25. Find out how and when to apply.
“I’m offering a scholarship in the workshop I am calling ‘In the Footsteps of the Masters,'” says Jerry Markham. “The course will be free to any selected U.S. or Canadian citizen between the ages of 17 and 25 who applies and is accepted. The person must be currently enrolled in an art program and be interested in pursuing art as a career. I’ll also pay their hotel expenses during the workshop. My reason for offering this scholarship is to help young people who may be interested in learning more about outdoor painting and a career in art.”
