Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Olmsted Plein Air Invitational! This year’s judges were Dan Beck, Helena KM Fox, and Peter Trippi.

“Still soaking it all in,” said Carole Gray-Weihman, who received the Best of Show award this year. “Throughout the event, I was fortunate to find new homes for several of my paintings, and I’m beyond grateful for the collectors, old friends and new, who made this journey unforgettable.
“I tend to be a little shy about announcing awards — not because I’m not thrilled, but because I deeply respect the incredible heart and effort every artist brings to their work. I’m simply feeling immense gratitude for the recognition and for the beautiful community that gathered here. I worked hard, poured everything I had into this week, and though I’m completely exhausted, my heart is full.
“I had the joy of connecting with so many wonderful fellow artists, having conversations that will stay with me long after this event. A big thanks to my new friend and housemate during the event, Eileen Eder, who captured this moment in a photo.
“Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, fellow artists, and especially the collectors who continue to support living artists. It means more than you know.”
