Plein air artist Barbara Tapp’s work will be featured February 2 through March 3 at Holton Studio Gallery, where she’ll be showing 34 watercolor urbanscapes that were painted during a 31-day sprint in the Flatlands of Berkeley.

“What began as a challenge by the Strada Easel Company grew into an extraordinary eye-opening journey,” the gallery tells us. “Tapp became immersed and accepted in a location she had driven through for 30 years. Daily stories emerged and the collection began to capture the changes that are occurring in this semi-industrial mixed use landscape.”
