At the recent Realism Live virtual art conference, CEO and Publisher Eric Rhoads and Fine Art Connoisseur Editor-in Chief Peter Trippi announced the finalists and top winners of the Artist and Selfie Painting Competition, which featured $44,000 in cash and awards.
One of the competition categories was “Best Painting of an Artist in Plein Air,” and we’re honored to share the finalists with you:
1. Beth Bathe, “Lon Brauer”
2. Brian Keeler, “Under Seneca Summer Skies”
3. Joke Frima, “Alessandra Marrucchi Painting at Ponte di Pruno in Italy”
4. Suzie Baker, “George Painting”
5. Jove Wang, “My Demo”
“My Demo” (above) by Jove Wang won the “Best Painting of an Artist in Plein Air” award, valued at $4,000.
