Gold Medal winner in the Master Signature Division

The Oil Painters of America recently announced the winners at its 22nd Annual National Juried Exhibition, and Stan Rogers won the Bronze Medal award in the Associate Signature Division and a full-page advertisement in PleinAir magazine as part of the publication’s sponsorship of the award.

The Gold Medal in the Master Signature Division went to “Uyghur Woman,” by Shi Zhong Yan. The Silver Medal winner was “The Train Station,” by C.W. Mundy. The Bronze Medal award in the Associate Signature Division was sponsored by PleinAir magazine. The winner was “Carrer del Sant Sever, Barcelona,” by Stan Rogers, oil, 32 x 12 in.

OPA awarded more than $75,000 in prizes during its 2013 National Juried Exhibition. Less than 10 percent of the entrants were accepted into the prestigious show.
