  1. Hi Steve, fantastic article. I think it should be “Practising what we preach” instead of PRACTICING what we preach – the ‘s” version denotes the verb (in action) whereas the PRACTICE denotes the noun version, like dental practice. Now I have to go and practise being non-critical and humble!
With respect and admiration for all your writing, Ron

  2. Ah! So glad Bob Bahr got to paint alongside you Steve in such a beautiful place. He’s an excellent writer, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

I love getting this newsletter – I see many of my friends in the photos and it’s just plain fun to see what everyone’s up to and where they’re painting. I feel like I’ve been all over the world without leaving my LazyBoy. (I’m talking about my chair, not my husband)

  3. I had a fabulous time at SKB. It was wonderful to see my family of artists again. Meeting Steve Dohety and his lovely wife was an added plus. I look forward to SKB every year to increase my exposure to new teachers and learn from all the returning instructors. It is also wonderful to be able to support this wonderful organization by purchasing beautiful paintings from my fellow artists as well as the instructors.
