More than $5,000 in awards will be given in Ellicott City, an affluent area just west of Baltimore and north of Washington, D.C., during this July event. But the deadline for entry is approaching.
Valerie Craig will serve as the juror for Paint It! Ellicott City, which runs July 9-13. The event is organized by the Howard County Arts Council. New activities this year include a nocturne paint-out and ghost tour, and a Quick Draw competition. Art created during the event will be on view for six weeks at the Howard County Arts Council gallery.
