Recently, Eric Rhoads led his annual Publisher’s Invitational art retreat in the Adirondacks of New York. Many artists who attend come year after year because of the friendships that are made, the ease of painting together in beautiful locations, and the convenience of it being all-inclusive.
Susan Nicholas Gephart is one such artist. “This is my ninth year attending in memory of my artist father Tom Nicholas,” she said. “It’s a place for me to paint just what I want and remember that he was always my constant encourager throughout my life as an artist. It was a beautiful day and the whole group went down to … a gorgeous place with paths and circling the marsh and lake. Something for everyone.”
