Just before Thanksgiving, American Women Artists (AWA) announced their upcoming 2018 Spring Online Juried Show — an exclusive juried show opportunity for Associate and Associate with Distinction members.
The AWA Spring Online Juried Show creates an additional exhibition opportunity for Associate members to gain the experience of preparing work for a national juried competition. Some of the most exciting up-and-coming representational artists participate in this competition.
According to the organization, “Open to all current 2018 AWA Associate and Associate with Distinction members working in either 2D or 3D, in traditional or abstract style, the Spring Online Juried Show application process begins January 16, 2018, and ends on March 11, 2018. Finalists will be announced April 4, 2018. Finalists will also be juried for awards and prizes. A $1,000 cash Grand Prize winner will be chosen from the group of finalists, along with Second, Third, and Honorable Mention cash and merchandise awards. Several awards of merit will also be selected.”
