The Colorado Plein Air event wrapped up last week with juror Carolyn “Charlie” Bogusz (vice president and general manager of PleinAir magazine) choosing two key winners from among the entries.

Bogusz chose Jane Hunt as the PleinAirCollector.com Award of Excellence winner for “Coors Field. And susiehyer won a half-page ad as part of the PleinAir Magazine Award of Excellence for her piece, “Aftermath.”
Elsewhere in the competition, Kevin Weckback won Best of Show and First Place in the Professional category for his watercolor “Cemetery.” Second Place Professional went to Scott Ruthven for “San Pellegrinos.” Third Place Professional was won by Robert McPherson for “Morrison Antiques.”
