The jurors have been announced for the America’s Parks II competition, which asks artists to depict America’s National Parks and earn one of at least six major awards. Steve Doherty, editor of PleinAir magazine; Pam Dean Cable, executive director of the Susan K. Black Foundation; and Todd Wilkinson, managing editor of Wildlife Art Journal, will judge the entries, which are due on October 15. Early entries at a reduced cost will be accepted until August 31.

The America’s Parks competitions are the spiritual heir to the popular Arts in the Parks competitions, which ended a few years back. The exhibition connected with competition will open on March 16, 2014, and will tour museums. The competition is produced by David J. Wagner. See the prospectus online.
