Walter Ufer and E. Martin Hennings, both German-American painters who became legends in depicting the American West, are remembered in an exhibition of 38 large-scale paintings.
The Denver Art Museum presents “A Place in the Sun: Southwest Paintings of Walter Ufer and E. Martin Hennings,” on view December 13 through April 24, 2016. This will be the first-ever exhibition to present major paintings by both Ufer and Hennings.
