Plein air painter Gwen Gutwein is showcased in an exhibition on view through December 24 at Wilson Gallery, part of Picture This in Print Gallery in Kendallville, Indiana. Gutwein’s oils will be on view alongside drawings by David Button.
“Our mission is to represent area artists and expose the Midwest to fine art,” says Elisa Ellsworth, the proprietor of the gallery. “People around here are interested when they see someone painting outside. They are curious about it, and plein air painting makes the artist seem more approachable. At our open houses people love to ask the artists questions.”

Wilson Gallery draws collectors from the Fort Wayne and South Bend areas of Indiana. It is located at 124 S. Main Street, in Kendallsville, Indiana.
