A gallery in Bradenton, Florida, is focusing on plein air work from the Gulf Coast and New England in a new show on view now through March 29.

“Farm and Field,” by Terry Mason, watercolor, 16 x 20 in.

“Shadows at Kings Farm,” by Clare Smith, watercolor, 12 x 20 in.

“On Palmer Ranch,” by Marilyn Howard Flinn, oil, 12 x 14 in.

“Mood Makers: Watercolor and Oil Plein Air Painters,” currently at the Dancing Crane Gallery of Art, features the work of several artists working outdoors. “We support diversity in art and strive to enable the public to appreciate and understand all art forms,” says Beverly Kershaw, owner of the Dancing Crane Gallery. “Our plein air show is presented to display the clean color, pure technique, and lack of manipulation apparent in many art forms today.”
