These three beauties were painted on a sun-filled day in Spring of 2021, at my friend Lydia Pottoff’s garden. Lydia and I have known each other a long time, from back in our graphic design days. Our friendship has grown as we’ve shared many plein air painting sessions together in recent years and especially throughout the pandemic.
Lydia’s garden is overflowing with peonies and other flowers, was a heavenly refuge; the three pieces were painted in one delightful session, in a variety of formats and sizes.
