“Blue Bayou”
Oil on canvas
24 x 36 in.
About the Artist:
‘Living on the Forgotten Coast of northwest Florida gives me many unusual opportunities to see nature and wildlife in a pristine setting. Sunsets are the best time to catch the long warm shadows of the western setting sun. Often seen are large white herons fishing for their final meal of the day or in flight to their evening resting place. Frequent tropical storms blow in off the Gulf creating dramatic, theatrical sunsets that are especially exciting to paint.’
