Reflective Pasture represents a conscious choice, in an often used subject, to choose an unusual angle, and push the values toward Notan which brings a more graphic result.
Born and raised in South Carolina, Trey attended Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, and graduated with a degree in Illustration. After a fifteen year career with Disney he left to pursue a career in painting. Since then he has been painting feverishly. His paintings convey a style he refers to as “Natural Impressions”, the application of the artist’s knowledge while under the influence of the subject; An impressionistic style with an emphasis on color, drawing, and an underlying abstract design.
