In Berwyn, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Brandywine country that inspired some of America’s greatest artists, an event is bringing together painters, farmers, and locavore foodies for a Farm to Table art show.

Frame Station Gallery serves as the nexus for this project, which featured more than a dozen plein air painters from the area. A small part of the proceeds from the event benefited the non-profit Brandywine Conservancy, which aims to preserve farmland and open spaces in that part of Pennsylvania.

The painters worked in a variety of media, all depicting the agricultural land of Chester County, and the results are on view at the gallery through November 25. The artists, members of the Htown Plein Air Painters group, painted throughout the summer to catch the scenes on location.
